The End of an Era.

Goodbye, Philadelphia.

That was fast.

Looks like another weekend has come and gone. Tomorrow. Is. Monday.

This guy knows how to jam and he does it CON. STANT. LY. Days, nights, and especially the weekends. Holidays? Forget it - he's around more often than the Salvation Army buckets (and we know that's quite a feat this year).



Throw him your change if you ever see him - his beats are worth it.

The rain stopped (sort of).

In an attempt to avoid stating the obvious, the weather has been terrible recently. Down right Seattle. But the weather broke just enough to capture the Philly skyline tonight. Picture thanks to an iphone.

The grass is always greener...in the sidewalk?

Surprise! This determined patch of crabgrass caught my eye as it braved the elements (natural, urban, and otherwise) on Walnut Street.

I was walking around Philly's streets this morning and mentally bookmarked the side streets south of Rittenhouse Square. The area feels a lot like the NYC's West Village only with less people (that's a compliment for Philly). These grapes were on the side of a building; an old-fashioned shutter stop. Bookmarked. I'll be back.
