After saying I'd take him here for his birthday two plus years ago, I finally took him to the Old Homestead Steakhouse. Located in the Meatpacking District, it's been around longer than most. Delicious meal, even if my mother didn't get steak. We then decided to walk lunch off over on the High Line and back over to the 6BC garden. Even better, the rain held off until it was time to head home; perfect timing.
